Gluten Free Chicken Chow Mein

This is by far one of the biggest bang for your buck and time recipes out there! A true 15 min recipe that will blow Panda Express, PF Changs, and your local Chinese eateries out of the water. We mean it because we’ve made it ourselves numerous times and it never ceases to sizzle our taste buds!

Gluten Free Chicken Chow Mein

Cook Time | 10 mins

Serves | 4 people

Chicken-Chow-Mein-1-compressor

Ingredients

  • 1 package Manini’s GF Linguini
  • 1 Tbsp Peanut Oil (or any other nut oil)
  • 1 Carrot, slice/diced/julienned
  • 1/2 head Napa Cabbage, sliced thin
  • 1/2 Onion
  • 1/4 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1/4 cup GF Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • Sliced Green Onions, for topping

Chicken Marinade Ingredients

  • 2 Tbsp Manini’s GF Multi-Purpose flour
  • 1 package of Boneless Chicken Thighs (much more tender than Chicken Breasts)
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tbsp GF Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 Tbsp Water

Directions

  • Combine Chicken Marinade ingredients above. For best flavor, combine ~30 mins prior to cooking.
  • Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the peanut oil.
  • Add Chicken and a bit of marinade to skillet and cook for 7-10 minutes until marinade begins to thicken. Set chicken aside.

Chicken-Chow-Mein-2-compressor

  • Bring a salted pot of water to a boil. Add Manini’s Linguini and cook for 3 minutes.

Chicken-Chow-Mein-4-compressor

  • Strain Linguini and set aside.

Chicken-Chow-Mein-6-compressor

  • In a new skillet over medium-high heat, add peanut oil.
  • Add the Carrots, 1/2 Onion, and 1/2 head of Cabbage. Cook for 1 minute.

Chicken-Chow-Mein-7-compressor

  • Add 1/4 cup Chicken, 1/4 cup GF Soy Sauce and 1 tsp Sesame Oil

Chicken-Chow-Mein-8-compressor

  • Toss in Linguini and Chicken Thighs and top dish with sliced Green Onions.
